Cataract in left eye
Matured cataract. Would like to go in for a multifocal lense. Let me know me when I can do the surgery. Will it be laser?

You should opt for surgery as soon as possible. Yes it can be done with the help of laser.

Hello As the cataract is already in mature I would recommend to go for surgery as soon as possible Phacoemulsification technique is used to operate cataract

In case you want it done by me, you will need to see me with prior appointment and have certain investigations namely fasting and post lunch blood sugar , complete blood count and urine routine done prior to seeing me. I will then do a test in my clinic called A scan biometry to determine the exact power of the lens needed for each eye. We can then schedule the date . Laser is used to crack and soften the hard lens.its extraction is done by phacoemulcification. Will multifocals lens you  may have the problem of glare and halos .so please get your queries removed before operation. Though it's a good option but you must be well prepared to accept it's side effects.

See mature cataract needs to be operated at d earliest.... If done in hands of trained surgeon it will be a laser surgery only.
