My wife is a Bipolar disorder patient, she faced her 2nd episode 3 years ago (post pregnancy). After that, the doctor prescribed her Lithium carbonate 300 mg tablet, 3 tablets every day before dinner, and she was fine. But a week ago she was feeling a little depressed. So I visited my doctor and the doctor prescribed her Cariprazine 1.5 mg capsules, 1 capsule everyday after breakfast. Now she is feeling better, but after taking Cariprazine for three days she is unable to sleep more than 3-4 hours at night.
My question is, will this sleeping problem cure automatically? Or should I visit my psychiatrist
immediately?
