Cardiac bypass recovery
Hey how long does it take for pain from a bypass operation to go away? My dad had it over 2 years ago and still experiences a lot of pain

Recovery from Bypass Wound site pain takes around 6 weeks. 2 years is a long time . Kindly revisit the bypass surgeon for evaluation of wound site as sometimes infection or non healing of wound can cause constant pain and it needs to be treated

Pain over chest could be because of scar over the sternal bone, need not to worry for that, if it cardiac pain need to show a cardiologist, needs mesication adjustment
