Carcinoma lung with CLL
My father hs Carcinoma lung. Has past history of CLL since 2008. He is gettin chemo treatment carboplatin + pemetrexed for lung. 2 cycles done.His blood counts have dropped. R there any other mutation/genetic study apart from ALK and EGFR which wer -ve in his case. Is there any targeted therapy which will not kill healthy cells.pls advise

The best treatment for EGFR and ALK negative patients is chemotherapy and if he progresses on chemotherapy then we could think of immunotherapy which is being investigated highly all across and again need to do PDL-1 marker to see if he responds to immunotherapy.
