Cannot keep my mind focused
I can sleep eight hours and that is very normal to me. Yet I am not a peace with myself. The time I am aware or in my senses, I cannot concentrate fully. I have this anger and frustration inside me. Cannot express myself at work or not too social. Not even sure if I have any problem or just creating all this stuff in my head. Need some guidance, please help! Thanks

Dear human, thank you for reaching out and sharing your concern, it’s not always easy to express. First things first, I’m glad that you are able to achieve 8 hours regular of sleep at night. It is very essential that the brain gets that amount of rest for better cognitive and physical functioning. It’s understandable that you're experiencing lack of concentration, pent up anger and frustration and these could be because of many reasons like anxiety, fear, self-doubts, traumatic events, stressors, negative life events, etc of which only you would be aware. Therapy would help you to analyse your concerns, consciously be aware of the sources of your concerns and vent your anger out in a safe space. When you feel agitated, angry or you are unable to focus, there are a couple of tips that will help you calm yourself down: 1. When you identify that your thoughts are going in that direction, take a break from whatever you are doing, sit down, clear your mind and take 3 long deep breaths. 2. Sometimes the best way to clear your mind is to declutter or clean your space. So you could look at cleaning and decorating your space as you like it. 3. Maintain a journal of all the disturbing thoughts that make you take away your focus from the present, that is write down your thought when you stresses out or unable to focus. This would help in reflecting on what you're undergoing and why. 4. You do also go for a walk or watch a comedy serial or movie to distract yourself from distressing thoughts.
