Cancer is a genetic disorder. But not all cancers are heriditary. Only 5-10% cancers are inherited. E.g: mostly the breast and gynaecological cancersThe reason: lot of errors can be incorporated in our genes if our body mechanics can not repair them. And sometimes these type of errors which are responsible for cancer, can be inherited. That's how inheriting a genetic error or mutation increases your lifetime chance of cancer development.
