Can we take Losartan instead of Losar 50

Asked for Female, 60 Years

My mother is currently staying at U.S and was planned to return to India this month (May). She is not able to return due to covid lockdown. Her Losar 50 tablets will be over by end of May. We can get Losartan tablets without prescription in U.S. Please let us know if she can take Losartan instead of Losar 50 Thank you

Losar is a brand name. Losartan is the actual pharmacological name. Meaning that both are the same and you can take.
