Hi I am 32 year old female, I have recently started running and I am enjoying it. I usually run 3km everyday and do some exercises too. Since few days I am experiencing some pain in my thigh. I apply local ointment but did not get relived. Kindly suggest some exercises which will help me to relieve the pain.

Yes! It's a DOMS so you just need to do overall stretch before you run or do strengthening exercises. Do not stop your activities what you have been doing so far because of pain. It will aggrevate more if you do so.
Hamstring stretching
Chiropractic adjustment will help.
Towel Hamstring Stretch
Lie on the back, supporting the thigh with the hand or with a towel wrapped around it..
Slowly straighten the knee until a stretch is felt in the back of the thigh, trying to get the bottom of the foot to face the ceiling, one leg at a time.
Hold the position initially for 10 seconds, and gradually work up to 20 to 30 seconds.
Seated Hamstring Stretch
While sitting at the edge of a chair, straighten one leg in front of the body with the heel on the floor.
Hi as you have just started running so there must be some DOMS(delayed onset muscle soreness) which goes with time as u keep on running and try to do pre and post run stretches like hamstring stretch, calf stretch,IT band stretch, Quadriceps stretches to avoid this soreness and pain.
