Can iPill be taken with Norethisterone?
My wife has been taking Norethisterone Acetate Controlled Release tablets for the past 20 days for an endometrial polyp (USG shows lesion approx. 24 × 13 mm, endometrial polyp;). She has 10 days left in her course. During this treatment, we had unprotected intercourse and wish to avoid pregnancy. Can she safely take an emergency contraceptive like iPill while continuing Norethisterone? Are there any interactions, reduced efficacy, or health concerns we should be aware of? Please advise.

The medicine that your wife has been taken to treat an endometrial polyp will not help The polyp  needs surgical removal Also to help you understand that prevention is before the act never after Once the act has been done there is no way to prevent an unwanted pregnancy You need to understand that emergency contraceptive pills hv a  very high failure rate the patient can be pregnant despite taking one also they are known to cause irregular vaginal bleeding delayed periods and many other side effect
