Yes you can change to stage 2 and mix contents according to instructions on the pack. You can start with complementary feeds . Rice, dal mashed , banana, apple, pear purées. Introduce one food at a time and even let baby to adapt for 2-3 days. You can start with 2 meals a day and if they start pushing after 2 tablespoon that is fine.. At 6 month Flu vaccine shot to be given . Development milestones include rolling over from front to back and vice versa, sitting with leaning forward, taking all things to mouth, babbling monosyllables like ma, pa , ba. The milestones can have a1-2 months variation.
Greetings
You can transition directly to Stage 2 formula or safely continue Stage 1 up to 12 months as long as iron-rich solids are introduced. For solids, start with smooth, single-ingredient purees like mashed banana, apple, rice cereal, or dal water once or twice a day. At 6 months, mandatory routine vaccines typically include the third dose of DTaP, Hib, Hepatitis B, and Oral Polio, alongside a seasonal influenza vaccine. No new daily medications are needed unless specifically prescribed by your pediatrician, though vitamin D or iron drops are commonly evaluated. Developmentally, your baby will likely achieve milestones such as sitting with minimal support, rolling over in both directions, and bringing objects to their mouth.
