Hello there, as you were operated for hernia, it's better not to do asanas that will lead to increase in abdominal pressure, which can lead to reoccurrence of hernia. Other than that you can do other asanas, it will not hurt you anymore.

Hello Sir,
To answer your query, I would like to trouble you with some pathology here. As we are in an era of Evidence based medicine and not doctor's personalised medicine.
Wound healing is a complex phenomenon. It has 4 stages- Cellular phase, inflammatory phase, proliferative phase and maturation & remodelling phase.
The onset of the maturation phase may vary extensively, depending on the size of the wound and whether it was initially closed or left open, ranging from approximately 3 days to 3 weeks. As the phase progresses, the tensile strength of the wound increases.
Collagen (Scar) will reach approximately 20% of its tensile strength after 3 weeks, increasing to 80% (maximum scar strength) by 12th week (3months).
It's been a year already that you have undergone your surgery. In uncomplicated cases, 3 months of avoiding strenuous exercise is sufficient. I am sure your surgical scar must have achieved its maximum tensile strength by now. Please indulge in whatever exercise you want.
God bless you.
