Can Honey cause disease to new born baby
Hi,
I have a new born baby of 2 months,
We gave him honey without knowing it causes diseases.
Is it something to worry?

Honey should not be given as prelacteal feed …
Better observe baby for warning signs like vomiting, abdomen distension, or any abnormal behaviour… nothing much to worry if these signs r absent as of now…

Mothers milk alone is sufficient for all nutritional needs til 6 months…
Health Tips
Water, honey, sugar syrup never to be given atleast till 6months of age… if any danger signs r seen please consult doctor in person…
