Poorly controlled diabetes over time can lead to erectile dysfunction. However, there are other factors too, that may result in ED. Such as stress, etc.
in such cases, patient can use viagra or other medications on demand.
It is, however, contraindicated in patients with certain cardiac conditions that require nitrates for treatment.
