Can antibiotic taken
Hi
My daughter is 10 months old and she is having fever close to 99.7 and cough with plugm sound since yesterday.
It was suggested to take antibiotic name Amoxicillin liquid
Can someone kindly let me know if it is safe to have for babies.

Antibiotic not required on 1st day of fever .blow grade fever can resolve on its own

Fever of 99.7 may subside without antibiotics. If her fever worsens then maybe you should take it as prescribed by your pediatrician. It is safe.

You dont need antibiotics for each and every small.infection
If she s playfull and active when fever goes away then just give fever medicine and cough and cold syrup
