Calcium supplement to fulfil daily needs
Namasthe doctor. Im 19 year old male. I want to supplement with calcium because of staying in hostel i am not getting any milk or dairy here. Im already taking d3 and k2 separately. But which form of calcium can give me more elemental and more bioavailable calcium? I read that calcium citrate malate is highly bio available but has only 21% elemental calcium. And, calcium carbonate is less bioavailable but has 40% of elemental calcium. So I am confused which supplement should I buy. so based on my age please suggest me which form of calcium can fulfill my daily needs to optimal. Thanks in advance.
