Calcium supplement
Can i take calcium citrate malate 1250mg per day for two weeks without taking vitamin d tablet? Is it compulsory to take with vitamin d ?

Hello I understand your concern. Given your age, I don’t think you need calcium supplement at such high dose, unless you are diagnosed with any other systemic condition. High calcium levels may have harmful effects too. Vit-D helps in good absorption of calcium. I would recommend you to just expose your skin to early morning sun rays. Natural ways to acquire calcium and Vit-D is more advisable than supplements at your age

Why calcium supplement required as your age is 25. If required - so there is so sever reduction in levels that you require 1250 mg dose per day ? Why? Excess calcium have bad effect on bones and other side effects. I think if u hve already  read about  the doses . Plz do read about excess calcium intake also.
