Hi all
My thyroid is 7. I have been taking thyronorm for the past two years.
My calcium level is 8.37 mg/dl. I have been advised to take shelcal 500 mg for two months in the night once. Can I improve using normal food habits? Do i have to take this supplement,?

You have to take calcium supplement.Milk and other dairy products are rich in calcium .Get your vitamin d level and PTH if your calcium level remains lower than the normal .
Yes you can improve with food habit and you can stop taking calcium supplement.. Get your self tested again after 03 month of stopping calcium. Continue THRONORN and if TSH during next evaluation is more than what you have now you need to increase the dose after consultation.
