Calamine for heat rash
Hi doc I was recommend Calamine lotion for my 11 months old baby due toh heat rash and allergy from Dabur lal tel. My chemist gave me MELAMINE LOTION. Please suggest me, is it safe for babies. If i apply it to my baby's hand and if she licks it, will that be worrisome as she licks everything nowadays. Thanks in advance.

I would suggest you to go for same brand name as prescribed by your doctor. As regards second part of your query, it’s safe nothing will happen

Thank you for your query calamine lotion is safe for your baby’s skin but should avoid licking the lotion Symptoms are usually mild and self-limited if ingested but better avoid it You can try baby oils or baby moisturisers which are safer
