There is no harm in giving lactulose (cadilose) for many months as it's not absorbed in the body. Constipation requires long treatment. But keep visiting your pediatrician for guidance

Hi,
No medicine is safe on a regular basis. Find the reason for hard stools.
Give a healthy diet with vegetables and fruits.
Give plenty of liquids/ water
Fiber rich diet
Reduce milk and biscuits.
