Ca-125 High
Few months ago i am facing irregular periods & Unbearable pain when i got periods. I consult a doctor & adv. Usg result: both ovaries Endometriotic cyst, POD is clear. Then doc give me to do test Ca-125: 246 TSH: normal Prolactin: 23.0 . so doc give me  Norethindrone . I was not satisfy so I take another opinion & she told me that ca-125 was very high & I have cancer OA & consult any cancer hospital. After that take another opinion & adv. Usg: both ovaries enlarged & bilateral chocolate cyst. FT4- 1.04 CBC- HB- 13.4 &  all are normal only , esr-28 Prolactin: 15.17 TSH: 1.63 LFT: normal except total protein is high 8.46 Family have no history of ovarian cancer. doc told me that there was no ovarian cancer & continue Dienogest 2 mg & repeat test after 3 months. Now present test result: Ca-125: 63.18, usg: Size of cyst is reduced in size & all are normal. i am not getting any pain during this medicine. ca-125 is still high, Is it a concern? im fear about that. plz adv. why ca125 is high?

High ca 125 is due to endometriosis. at your age the value isn't high enough for cancer
