  4. Buttock pain. And what should be dosage?

I have been advised by doctor to take ciplox for possible infection in the butt which is causing swelling and pain. Doc did not mention whether 500mg or 250mg is to be taken. And what should be dosage?

Ciplox is more of a respiratory or urinary antibiotic. For buttock soft tissue...Augmentin 625 twice a day will work better. And next time why dont you go back to that doctor to clear doubts like these
