  4. Burp after feed. Burp her few times.

Hi Doctor My baby is 3 months old. During night time she will wake up 2 to 3 times and I feed her. But i find it difficult to burp her during night. Is it ok if i dont burp her. During day time also few times she will fall asleep during feeding after which i am unable to burp her. Is it ok if i dont burp her few times.

Burping is must after feed to prevent aspiration and less chances if gaseous abdominal pain.

Always burp the baby well after each feed.There is tendency of baby to spit out some milk after feeding. Feed the baby 4-5 times in night also.
