Burning sensation in Foot
My dad is under diabetic medication for a year now. He has burning sensation in his foot, which was told as one of the effects due to biabetic by the doctor whom we went for consultation. It's been a year, but still he has the same problem. Is there any other possibilities apart from diabetics for this problem? If yes what it could be?

Yes first of all long standing diabetic will have diabetic neuropathy which will cause burning sensation of the foot. Uncontrolled sugars will also exaggerate the neuropathy. So first ting to do is get sugars co trolled other reason for neuropathy is vit B12 deficiency, smoking, alcohol some drugs etc
