Asked for Male, 47 Years

My mother has gone through a elbow surgery , after this it was around 2 months my mother has burning right leg due to this she can't able to sleep. Please someone can advise why this happening & what precautions should we take? And also she is a kidney donor around 20 years ago . Please advise?
