The baby, who is 2.5 years old, suffered a burn injury on the foot due to an electric kettle one month ago.
I have been consulting a surgeon for the past month, and they prescribed Derbisae ointment for healing.
However, the wound has not improved significantly.
A skin specialist recently examined the wound and recommended escharotomy surgery after consulting a pediatric surgeon.
So if the surgery is done it will be under local anesthesia or general anesthesia and if it risk for baby pls give suggestions

I would request you to consult your surgeon whether local or general anesthesia is required for this. Since the baby is small, I don’t think they will do it under local anesthesia and regarding the risk factors only they will be able to tell you briefly about it.
