Bumps near pubic area

I got few big bumps in pubic hair just below my belly. At first it was only one but now it appears there are more now. Whenever I touch it, it is painful.What could be reason for these bumps. Is it because of hair or something else. What to do about them?

Appears to be Folliculitis.. fairly common infection.

Next Steps

Apply T bact ointment. Take a course of Antibiotics.
