Budamate 200 inhaler used for five days
I was COVID +ve in April and I was in home isolation with normal spo2.I was not prescribed any kind of steroid only took multivitamins+Azithral(5days) as prescribed by my physician.I recovered around 20 April but I had some breathing problem as I was feeling my breathing was not fulfilling. So then I consulted a pulmonologist on 8th May (approx 1 month after my first COVID symptom) for this problem he prescribed me Budamate 200mcg inhaler 2 puffs day and night.I did this medicine for 5 days and my breathing issue resolved and I stopped taking it. My concern is that as budamate contains Budesonide which is a steroid can it cause any side effects such as black fungus ? It's been 15 days since I stopped the inhaler.I am not diabetic or obese.

Inhalation steroids can rarely cause side effects. They only act in lungs and do not get absorbed in blood much No need to worry about black fungus infection.
