Bruised leg
I hit my leg with the edge of the bed just below the knee cap. There is a little pain and a little swelling and it does hamper my walking a bit. What should I do?

Not to worry just take some of the following measures .
Avoid unnecessary strain(take rest for a while)
Moderately tight crape bandage can be used.
Cold compress if the injury timeline is less than 48 hours
T. Ibuprofen 400mg OD(if pain exceeds repeat dose 8hrly)
T. Pantop 40mg BBF(before breakfast).
