Brown scar turned red

Asked for Female, 35 Years

Hi doctor. I was under treatment of my brown scar on face. I tried home remedies as well and applied vitamin e oil to my face. I had done this yesterday too however today I did with a massager. It turned red. Could it be reaction ??? Or did the oil harmed my skin ?? I had my 1st laser on the scar. What do I do?
