Hi Dr. . My mother having brown patches on cheeks and nose...plz recommend some creams to remove those spots. She is having from 10 years

There are many reasons why your skin would turn dark or you may get pigmentation. Sun tan, overweight, pigmentation disorders like acanthosis nigricans or melasma, nutritional deficiency etc are some conditions. Unless someone examines you, we cannot know the cause. Is she applying applying and medicines in recent past. Can you please send her pics to me. Do one thing apply medicated sunscreen in morning and daytime and in evening tell her to apply kojic acid derivative.
