If there has been no other lung damages, with full course of treatment lungs should fully recover. As of now for coughing blood you have to take certains medications and do a scan. Not all cases will have liver side effects. If so u will. Have to monitor liver function every month.

Blood is not normal if its for 1 month . Get your contrast ct chest and then visit a pulmonologist. You may need a bronchoscopy for evaluating the reason for blood in sputum.
