My mother suffers from Bronchial Asthama for last one year. We have consulted with chest pulomonologist . He suggest to do nebulisation and prescribed some antibiotics. But the cough still remain there in the throat. It will never dry. There is a constant sound in the lungs also. Please suggest what course of action shall we take.

Hi. I understand your concern s. She will need to undergo a detailed examination and investigation like chest x ray to look for any infection and pulmonary function test which is needed for the diagnosis as well as to assess severity of asthma based on which treatment can be started. Consult a pulmonologist for the same at the earliest.
