Hi. I understand your concern s. She will need to undergo a detailed examination and investigation like chest x ray to look for any infection and pulmonary function test which is needed for the diagnosis as well as to assess severity of asthma based on which treatment can be started. Consult a pulmonologist for the same at the earliest.

The condition needs to be investigated further by x ray, spirometry and if required a ct scan. Then only diagnosis can be established.
