Broken Thumb Bone
Hi, I have broken my thumb bone and they have plastered it. But I have been told that the plaster might not be able to heal the bone and they will need to consult a hand specialist to see if a surgery is needed. Can someone please advise if it is necessary to go through surgery for this. What could be the consequences if I decide not to do surgery? Thanks

No it's not absolutely necessary to undergo surgery. It will take 6 to 8 weeks for recovery.
