You might either have anatomical obstruction to your nasal airway such as a deviated nasal septum or a concha bullosa or you might have allergic rhinitis causing hypertrophied turbinates. To reach a diagnosis you will need to consult physically so that a Diagnostic Nasal Endoscopy can be done or you need to get a CT scan of Nose & PNS. Kindly also specify if you have any other nasal symptoms along with obstruction. Pulmonary embolism is very unlikely to be your diagnosis. As it is a medical emergency and needs to be treated promptly to avoid risk of death.
Next Steps
Consult physically or do CT Nose and PNS.
