Breastfeeding
My baby is 3+ month old, and I'm so exhausted because she doesn't take my milk. Since the day she was born, nurses had to give her through a syringe because she just wouldn't latch. I had to use a shield and she did eventually. But her stomach was never full so we had to give her a top up. SHe only takes formula now,nor I make that much milk anymore. I've been told atleast for a year she'll need my milk. It's very frustrating. How do I get her back ?

Having top milk is a easy way out for babies and hence they prefer it. Always breast feed first and then give top milk, if required. You can visit your paediatrician or gynae who can check if you are following a proper method of breast feeding.

It can be frustrating for a mom when breast feeding is not successful...if you were giving formula by hottle its possible ur baby has a nipple confusion and prefers bottle..so instead try wati spoon..also you consult your obstetrician for supplements or med to increase lactation..if latching issue persists you may choose to express your milk and feed...most importantly check your babys weight..if there is gain u are doing a good job..so dont worry and enjoy motherhood
