Hi, My baby is 2months old. I've started formula feeding since one month because my breastmilk production was very low. Now I breastfeed her only once a day. My breastmilk is very much watery. Does it mean that it's spoiled or it's quality is not good? Does my breastmilk spoiled within my breast since I breastfeed only once a day? Sometimes My baby vomits and it will be of curd like consistency. Is this because of my breastmilk? What shall I do to improve thickness of my breastmilk?

Hi Mam. Did you discuss with your doctor before starting formula milk? Generally I give medicines to increase breast milk ( Lactonic granules 2 tsp along with milk twice daily). If not improving then only advice formula milk eg Nanexcellapro. Give formula milk with spoon or paladai. AVOID USING BOTTLE.
Breast milk is watery as you are not frequently feeding. Breast feeding is the best for baby. Pls give whatever breast milk comes. Vomiting is very common in small babies. It is not due to breast milk. Vomiting improves gradually with age.
