Due to personal issues, I stopped breastfeeding my 1-year-and-4-month-old baby. My gynecologist prescribed medication to stop my milk supply, and I took the first dose last night. However, my breasts have become very heavy, engorged, and painful. Can I express milk using a breast pump? My doctor told me not to express milk after taking the medication, so I am unsure what to do. Please share your advice.
