Breast feeding.
Hi . I am 4 months postpartum. I breastfeed my baby. Sometimes i feel pain in nipples and breasts, then it goes away. Again when baby starts sucking , it hurts again. Is it due to production of milk? Is it normal?

The best way to avoid this is to learn how to latch the baby correctly and also don't stop feeding suddenly when the baby is sucking You can apply nip care oint 3times a day after baby had had milk and next time before feeding just wipe off with water
Next Steps
it is important to express milk if you are not able to feed from one side

Some amount of pain can occur.. However if u feel ny redness or cut you cn use nipcare cream locally 4 to 5 times in a day.. Also u cn apply ghee or coconut oil over it so that its not sore.. If too much of problem feed the baby through Nipple sheild.. For ny further information you can connect with me directly online
