Is breast cancer Herditary ie if my mother suffers from breat cancer what are the chances that I will also suffer from the same

Breast cancers are sometimes inherited( 5-10%). If your mother carries a genetic error which can be passed on to you, then you will have 50% chance of inheriting the same. However, carrying an inherited genetic error only increases your lifetime chance of developing cancer.
