Breast abscess is the collection of pus in the breast. During surgery the surgeon makes a small incision to drain out all the pus that is collected in the breast. After the procedure you will be on antibiotics for a few days. If your surgery went fine and you respond well to the antibiotics your wound will heal within 2- 3 weeks. If you are a feeding mother you can restart feeding after 2 weeks
