Breast abscess
Hi, I have been diagnosed with breast abscesses in my rt breast and doctor has advised for antibiotic therapy (augmentine 625, zerodol sp and sprolac ds) for 7 days. My question is will it be cured on medicine or should I get operated ?

It depends on the size of the abscess and state of the abscess (solid/semisolid/ liquid). If it is small size and semisolid state it will subside with antibiotics alone. If it is bigger in size and in liquid state you may need surgery (incision and drainage).
