Breaking pus pimple
I had a big pus filled pimple on my face for a 1 month plus. did zady 500 mg (Azithromycin) for 6 days one tablet daily. and yday and today almost all pus came out of it and its flat now on skin.
Do i have to take more antibiotics or i can just continue with fusidic acid cream and peroclin 2.5% gel which was prescribed to me ?

Thanks for the query.
You might behaving a infected cystic acne which has given way and is flat now. The antibiotics taken stay in the blood for quite long and keeps working, even if you stop them. So further oral medications may not be advisable and that is the reason that there is a fixed duration of treatment for most diseases. You can use fusidic acid but can avoid the other one for few more days.
