I have a uretic jj stent in my left kidney. My question is by any chance this stent would be tear or broke by normal activity?

JJ stent can be safely kept up to 6weeks and require change /removal after that No case has been reported as per my knowledge of spontaneous break down of stent during normal activity . Off course long duration placement of ureteric stents are prone for calcification make them fragile leading to insitu breakage or while pulling them out
