Brain clots
My mother's Brain MRI shows mild ischemic changes. She feels heaviness in head. She also sleeps very less from past some years. She has problem of slip disc. Her present INR value is 1.5 she was taking blood thinning meds.
Want to get suggestion that new doctor suggested stalopam plus for her for all these problems.

She is having ischemic brain disease. The risk factors at this age for brain ischemia should be looked for . Her BP is normal as mentioned. Investigate for diabetes , for hyperlipidemia (blood cholesterol level ). Cardiac evaluation . If she has any addiction like smoking or tobacco it must be stopped. Her behavioral symptoms may be because of brain disease or a separate entity, however she is rightly prescribed. Continue same treatment as advise and take care of other factors as mentioned above
