Brain aneursym of 3mm
It s n right opthamalic nerve. Is it safe to clip it at this small size? It s in saccular form of 3*2mm of wide neck.pls kindly suggest me a treatment. I went to 2 hospital, at 1 hosp they told to clip or coil in 2 hosp they told not to disturb it since its very risk to clip it at small size.pls guide me.

As the size of aneurysm is small and also neck is wide & patient is asymptomatic, in my opinion any invasive treatment is not required at current situation. But patient should be careful. As it near to a nerve, if he develops any symptoms of headache or paraesthesia over face must consult doctors. Follow up Neuro imaging ( angio) may be required for the asessment of future pogression of the aneurysm.
