You will have visits every month. If you delay for 3 months, the desired change in movement of teeth may not happen and yes the duration of treatment may be prolonged. Also the wire may poke your cheek
Next Steps
Please visit a dentist at earliest

You have to visit to your orthodontist. He/she will refix it and this is the molar band which fall down .Its main function is to hold the wire so that the wire can create pressure on other teeth.

It will be a problem. Please go to your dentist ASAP. When brackets fall, they can't do their job and will end up delaying your treatment time. Your dentist can fix the bracket again for you so your treatment can carry on well.
