BP is 140/90 in 21st week of pregnancy
Having 140/90 BP and checked only twice today. Doctor suggested to take labatelol 100 mg, Ecospirin 150 mg, Evion Forte and Zilargyn packet. Please suggest if we start use immediately or is it better to check BP again.

Medicines are ok and have bed rest, salt restricted diet, no extra salt, have Coconut water, and check BP regularly.

You should start medicine immediately and also check your Bp at home daily twice a day and make a chart of it.

Is it related to pregnancy?how many weeks? Diastolic now more than 90mm hg indicates gestational hypertension after 20 weeks of gestation.so you can start medicine and ofcourse need to monitor bp at home .watch for leg swelling and give uribe sample for proteinuria and other lab parameters like KFT and L FT to see the other organ affected and to make sure it is preeclampsia or not.dobt want to scare you but please be cautious
