Bone Plating
Hi, I gone through a surgery due to an accident and a plating is done in my left hand just above wrist.Its now 11 years and now I want to remove this plate.Is it mandatory to remove this plate,any problem if I am not removing it.No Pain or any problem.

It is not mandatoty to remove the plate till it gives you a trouble like pain in the wrist, stiffness, screw protusion, localised infection.
People have had the plates throughout like without any complications.
