Bone healing
I have a fracture at humerus bone, 5 months ago. Doctor done operation and inserted a plate. Still the bone is not healed  completely. Doctor said that to do 'bone grafting'. What should I do?

Hi Well surgery is done to restore the alignment and let the bone unite. But in some cases bone does not have the capacity to unite by itself: need to find out the cause. In cases we could not find out cause and bone is not uniting then it need to be stimulated by doing bone graft. Bone graft is taken from iliac bone. It has no harm on your bone stocky. .. Any how this is a surgery and you need proper counselling about this by the operating surgeon . I hope this is helpful. Queries are invited Regards
