Please post a photo to access and decide management. Your husband must keep that area dry and airy. Make sure the hair is trimmed, no sweat, dry hair properly after hair wash. Can use talcum powder in this hot weather. Wear loose collar clothing around the neck. Is he diabetic? As of now, you can do a warm compress over it to ease the pain.

1.You must avoid excess sweating in the area by trimming the hair as a boil in this area is usually due to infection of hair follicle.          2.Try to apply no/ little hair oil and keep hair clean by regular wash with shampoo. 3.If boil is big or associated with redness, pain or hardness, you might need antibiotics. 4.Even after above precautions if it still recurs, you both need to be screened for Diabetes. 5.please consult for right treatment.
